Task 3 - Concept Presentation

INSTRUCTIONS

TASK 3 - CONCEPT PRESENTATION

For Task 3, we were required to present our concept development from Week 1 to Week 7. Since Kelly and Ying Yi were unavailable, Jie Ying and I worked together to prepare the slides. We had to compile all of our progress, including the mood boards, character sketches, explorations, testing and refinements, into a clear and structured presentation.

With limited time, we focused on organizing our ideas effectively, ensuring that our designs and thought process were well-documented. Despite the rush, we managed to put everything together and complete the slides in time for the presentation.

REFLECTION

Throughout Task 3, I felt that my work wasn’t up to my usual standard because everything was rushed. Initially, during Week 7, we thought we would be presenting Task 2, but the lecturer informed us just one day before the presentation that we needed to present Task 3 instead. This sudden change meant we had to complete the slides in just one day, leaving very little time for refinement.

On top of that, I had another module that required a lot of my time, as I was preparing for my final presentation at Muzium Telekom. This involved creating a video, which took up most of my focus. However, I know that this isn’t an excuse for not putting in more effort. Despite the challenges, I am determined to improve my work.

I plan to continue refining my progress during the semester break and will keep working on my project until I take Major Project 2. This will give me more time to polish my designs and ensure they meet my expectations.
